Fusion GPS was hired by Hillary and the DNC to dig up dirt on Trump. Even lie. And now they are surfacing everywhere in many departments of the Obama administration.

Fusion GPS is a commercial research and strategic intelligence firm based in Washington, D.C. The company conducts open-source investigations and provides research and strategic advice for businesses, law firms and investors, as well as for political inquiries, such as opposition research.[1] The "GPS" initialism is derived from "Global research, Political analysis, Strategic insight".[2]

LS so you just reported that Fusion GPS is doing what they are hired to do. They research and give advice to the people who pay them

They aren't a cooking show, or a variety program they are an investigative organization.
This is the way business is done in not only the USA but many other countries

You haven't been keeping up.

Here's a hint: Nellie Ohr of Fusion GPS and Bruce Ohr was #4 at DOJ. You are intelligent enough to take it from there. If not, oh well.

Alan Dershowitz says Dems going too far in requests for personal documents without naming a crime

March 5, 2019
Fox News

Dershowitz said that had he gotten a letter, he would consider a lawsuit.
A balance has to be struck between the legitimate function of Congress to investigate. The framers didn’t intend for Congress to become yet another prosecutorial branch, yet another investigative branch. They’re supposed to pass laws, and so, it seems to me these investigations look like they’re going too far.

If you go back to the cases in the 1950s, the courts sometimes did say, look, Congress, you’ve gone too far. This is not within your legitimate function. And so, if I were one of the people who got a letter or a subpoena, I would at least think about the possibility of bringing a lawsuit and suggesting that Congress is abusing its oversight function.

For those unaware, Dershowitz is a Democrat who voted for Hillary.

COHEN LIED AGAIN.

Cohen directed attorney to seek possible Trump pardon following FBI raid: report

March 6, 2019
The Hill
President Trump's former longtime attorney Michael Cohen directed his attorney to contact Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, about the possibility of obtaining a pardon, Cohen's attorney and spokesman said Wednesday.

Cohen's attorney, Lanny Davis, told The Wall Street Journal late Wednesday that his client had asked a previous attorney, Stephen Ryan, to talk with Giuliani and two other lawyers representing the president about the possibility of a pardon in the weeks after FBI agents raided his home and office last year.
Davis's statement would appear to directly contradict testimony Cohen gave before the House Oversight and Reform Committee last week, during which he denied ever seeking a pardon from the president.

“I have never asked for, nor would I accept, a pardon from Mr. Trump," Cohen told the committee.
And this was the Democrats' star witness? It gets worse for Cohen every day.

Court to unseal Christopher Steele deposition

February 28, 2019
Washington Examiner
The depositions given by former British spy Christopher Steele and a longtime associate of John McCain must be unsealed, a federal judge said Thursday.

U.S. District Court Judge Ursula Ungaro overruled the objections of both Steele and David Kramer to make the depositions public. The pair gave testimony in a lawsuit brought against BuzzFeed in December 2018 by a Russian Internet entrepreneur.

The businessman, Aleksej Gubarev, was referenced in the infamous dossier compiled by Steele about President Trump’s alleged connections to Russia. Gubarev objected to BuzzFeed’s publishing of the dossier in January 2017, which accused him of using his companies to hack into computers owned by the Democratic National Committee.

The depositions could be released as soon as March 14.
Remember that date -- March 14. Also know this: David Kramer worked for the US Department of State and leaked the phony dossier to the media.
Kramer, a former State Department official, gave the dossier to BuzzFeed in December 2016, after meeting Steele in London weeks earlier.

Steele was hired by Fusion GPS during the 2016 presidential campaign to compile opposition research on Trump.

Judicial Watch Uncovers DOJ Records Showing Numerous Bruce Ohr Communications with Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele

Source: Judicial Watch
Judicial Watch announced today it received 339 pages of heavily redacted records from the U.S. Department of Justice which reveal that former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr remained in regular contact with former British spy and Fusion GPS contractor Christopher Steele after Steele was terminated by the FBI in November 2016 for revealing to the media his position as an FBI confidential informant.

The records show that Ohr served as a go-between for Steele by passing along information to “his colleagues” on matters relating to Steele’s activities. Ohr also set up meetings with Steele, regularly talked to him on the telephone and provided him assistance in dealing with situations Steele was confronting with the media.

Judicial Watch obtained the records through a March 2018 Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed after the Justice Department failed to respond a December 2017 request Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-00490)).
The documents were heavily redacted. Some redactions were dates. Why redact dates unless you are hiding a timeline?

Lisa Page said FBI discussed charging Hillary Clinton with 'gross negligence' in 2016, and DOJ shut them down

Source: Testimony Transcript
March 12, 2019

Transcripts of Lisa Page's testimony before Congress reveals internal discussions relevant to the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails.

Espionage Act charges were discussed against Hillary Clinton, citing “gross negligence," but Obama's DOJ headed by Loretta Lynch shut them down.

Page told the committee that the FBI "did not blow over gross negligence.” Page testified the FBI, including Comey, believed Clinton may have committed gross negligence.
“We, in fact — and, in fact, the Director — because, on its face, it did seem like, well, maybe there’s a potential here for this to be the charge. And we had multiple conversations, multiple conversations with the Justice Department about charging gross negligence."
Hundreds of pages of Lisa Page's testimony are more in a long line of revelations of the cabal at the highest levels of Obama's FBI and DOJ. The same group is connected to protecting Hillary and going after Trump.

Testimony from Bruce Ohr, the former #4 rank at DOJ, was released last week. Ohr is directly connected to dossier author Christopher Steele, and his wife worked at Fusion GPS.

More to come.

Top Mueller Prosecutor Stepping Down In Latest Clue Russia Inquiry May Be Ending

Source: NPR

Weissmann is on the run. Not only leaving the Mueller investigation, but leaving the DOJ.

Weissmann has so many conflicts of interest in the Trump-Russia hoax. The most glaring is that he knew of the Steele Dossier and its questionable and biased source, but used it anyway to reinforce the "insurance policy" against Trump. After being involved with it in that regard, was then added to Mueller's team of Democrats investigating Trump BECAUSE TRUMP.

He's got defenders and detractors, as all controversial characters do.
