A few months ago I recall seeing a shop that had a selection of replecement base pedestals for office chairs. Buggered if I can remember where it was so hoping other members are less memory challenged.

I think it's Amorn's.....ground floor of the old Big C.......toward the rear.
Re: a new base for an office chair.
There is a shop on the left past the BBK Bank that sells chair parts. I cant remember the road name but if you were coming fro Nong Khai turn right just after Tuk Com and it's half way along that road on the left beside the furniture shops.
Re: a new base for an office chair.
I had a flashback and the chair bases are at (old) Global on the ring road.
Last time I was home, they were in the middle of a major makeover which looks like it's complete now. It looks like a broader range of stuff too but I will need another half-day to suss out where everything is. Luckily, the replacement office chair bases were on a stand beside the new office chairs... unusually prescient product placement!

Keep it simple..next door to Makro on Phosi.
Plastic base- 400tb
metal base-600tb. I just had one done last week..in and out in 10 minutes.
The Chinese lady will bring out the metal one for 600 is you don't say you want the plastic 400 one.
My experience..they are both about the same. if you like to lean back alot, the metal ones will "tear' too.
Yes, the metal tears, not breaks. Cheap.
