Tyre fitting

Post by GENTLEY » July 10, 2018, 10:44 am

Hi. Has anyone had any experience of having their own tyres fitted at an auto outlet in or around Udon Thani?

I seek advice as I have 4 new tyres I need fitting. So if anyone has used such a business I would be grateful for your help. Thank you.

B-Quick seems to be the universal go-to tire shop in the busier Thai conurbations with farang ghettos. They're on the east ring road, just after HomePro.

However, I traded-up my tires and rims at a regular roadside tire shop, next to the PPT pump station, just south of the Nongbua/Nong Sai traffic lights on the east ring road. He swapped the old OEM rims (with real old tires) for newer OEM rims and not-so used tires. Balanced them all before planting them on the sports lorry. Pretty sure he would happily mount your new rubber on your old rims and balance them for a reasonable fee. FWIW, most of these businesses have a comprehensive price list (in Thai) so no need to negotiate anything.

Usually the place you buy the tires from are happy to do this so assume that you got your new ones mail order or by some other means.

B-Quik as there have outlets throughout the country and they guarantee their tyres at whichever outlet is nearest should you have a problem
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left
