There have been suggestions of West Ham facing a points deduction or having to play behind closed doors after the ugly scenes at the London Stadium on Saturday.

However, the Football Association must wait for West Ham to offer their explanation about what happened on Saturday before deciding what to do.

The FA Rule E.20 prohibits pitch incursions - even celebratory ones.

Then again West Ham will probably roll out the old "we won the World Cup for England" comments again and just like Tevezgate the FA  will brush all punishment under the carpet ](*,)

I think that the West Ham ground situation is a bit of an unique one.
Under the (wildly favourable to the West Ham owners) terms of their agreement, the club is not responsible for security within the ground - unlike just about every other club in the country - the landlord is...

It is another situation where the owners have sold the club down the river in order to make a profit out of it.
I can understand any West Ham fans' frustration at what has happened to their club, courtesy of the ex-Birmingham City rabble that run it, over the last couple of seasons...but running onto the pitch during a game is just a mindless & senseless act... :(

Whilst the legal situation is that they are not responsible for security within the ground, that will only apply to civil law
As a fully paid up member of Prem Lge/FA etc Sullivan/Gould/Brady & Co agree to abide by their rules in order to partake in the competitions. It follows then that there must be double security at London Stadium one lot provided by LCC and another separate security system provided by the club to ensure it is abiding by the rules it needs to.
Completely agree that running onto the field is a mindless senseless act, that energy should have been used to slash the tyres on the boards Rollers and at least make them wait for a substitute Limo to take them home

Sigurdsson possibly out for rest of season will be a blow for Everton who might struggle to find cover for the No10 role :^o

Stoke 0 Man City 2
All a bit too easy for Citi as they win on cruise control.

Not so easy for Pellegrino though, but maybe something of a blessed release after the way they played last game out...

I'm surprised Southampton didn't sack Pelligrino a couple of months ago as he seemed hopelessly out of his depth.....but it could be too late to save The Saints.....rumour is that Glen Hoddle could take over to the end of the season.

Michael Carrick to retire at the end of the season aged 36.No real surprise as he has only played 4 times this season and was treated for an irregular heart rhythm. He joined from The Spuds in 2006 and has made 463 appearances for United and has 34 England caps.Good luck to him for the future.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Question:- Who were Tony Pulis's last 3 Premier Lge clubs?
Question:- Who are the 3 teams currently in the relegation zone in the Prem Lge?

Coincidence?

I hardly think a picture of a geezer with a puddin basin haircut & tash holding some kind of mop and a photo of Jamie Carragher is what you would call an obvious link 747

The Reality! :-" :D
Utd. 2 Liverpool 1.
Other than Utd players accidentally straying into the Liverpool half [-X , nothing of any note during the first 20 minutes or so.
Then, totally unexpectedly, Rashford scored two stunning individual goals =D>
The Mouth immediately displayed his tactical genius  by changing his team's formation to 1-5-5, and making it clear that, under absolutely no circumstances, was any Utd player permitted to venture outside the Utd defensive half. The consequences and intent being to reduce the 'playing' area of the pitch to half size, & into which would be crammed no less than 18 players, (the 11 Utd team members, plus at least 7 Liverpool), not to mention the poor referee trying to keep clear of the resulting shambles.
So, from about the 60th minute, the result was never in doubt; that, other than with the aid of a miracle, Liverpool were never going to score; that Utd were assured of securing the runners up spot, in the EPL and that any future match in which Utd score first, fans should either leave the ground or turn off the TV, because The Mouth will assuredly revert to this same tactic; which is merely a more extreme extension of the ONLY tactic he has adopted throughout his career..
Finally, doubtless the Utd fans will be grateful to The Mouth for his help in ensuring the club cannot any longer be numbered among those considered to achieve success whilst, at the same time, playing with style and panache. On the contrary, The Mouth will take great pride in, and accept as a personal compliment, the new name by which his team is increasingly referred, and which fairly describes it's general performances, under his management, namely "The Unwatchables" :(
