I just finished a 4 night stay. The rooms are basic but clean and new. WiFi worked great and you can’t beat the location. A big downside is the lack of a safe in the room. I brought this up with the front desk but they didn’t seem interested in the suggestion.

That is a big oversight IMHO but I have stayed in a couple of other 2-3 star places around town and in the boonies and it's quite common that they don't have them. Maybe make a suggestion via their website since the staff may not mention it to the owner?

Had checked this place and facilities for a friend who may visit town and the website says "Safety Deposit Box".

Better tell the owners.

This probably means they have safety deposit boxes at Reception which a lot of hotels have.

You're the one checking lodging options for friends and spotting the misstatement on their website. I have no intention of ever staying there let alone recommending it to anyone.

Either way, this is their thread so they should be aware of it soon enough without anyone lifting a finger.
