England will try hard but it will be the same story as the last 30 years, vlad have you seen the size of the monsters in the aussie team.
But good luck to all teams and I hope the minnows produce some upsets or near upsets. Fatigue will kill most of the smaller nations. The guys who play in the NRL will have the stamina.

Its good to see rugby league on the international stage. ;)

We have got the Burgess Brothers who both play in the NRL and there's nothing big Sam likes its Smashing Aussies. Lets not forget he played a full Grand Final with a fractured eye socket,

England last made the final in 1995 and the last time the English were on the winning side was when Great Britain won in 1972. That was before Thatcher was Prime Minister. 8)

Yes 2014 GF, the head clash was with another Englishman James Graham. Tough nuts to crack that's for sure.
Not sure why burgess twin was omitted.

The strongest will survive. The opening game between England and Australia should be a cracker. And, it could go either way with the poms fired up.
My Nostradamus book says 26/14 to Australia

Even as one of the biggest optimists on the forum I cant see us getting anywhere near the Aussies unfortunately.

Hope I am wrong as it would be nice to win the Rugby world cup in the same 12 months as the cricket ashes and the soccer world cup both of which are inevitable England wins
