UD Town food court

Post by d1gromet » August 20, 2017, 7:55 am

Had lunch at UD town yesterday, like i do every week end. Beer price was higher, ask why and received answer to pay for beer tax.. Beer tax has not taken place yet. guess the beer courts don't need my business any more. I thought the new tax was on the sales of the beverage company's and not the retailers.
I thought the Government said that the beverage company's would not raise their price, so why should the retailers raise their price????

To offset the Tax increase, & not affect their profit.

Every price increase in the supply chain, be it taxes, raw material costs or employee wages will always end up being paid for by the end consumer

Do not buy beer there now after I had to pay 85baht with ice that was free before, to sit in the food court thought to much for nothing.

The beer compared to an average wage is already too expensive .... anyone selling at inappropriate prices must be boycotted ... who wants to understand ... understand !!

I buy my large bottles of Beer Chang for 47 baht each, and drink them with my mates at a small stall next to a busy food market. Better than drinking at a Farang bar any night of the week. Want another beer? Jump up and nip next door to buy another.
Easy.

Need another beer? Simple, just pop next door and buy another. Beats drinking in a farang bar anytime.
Job Done.

For 'trilateral' try 'truncated'.
I hate auto spellcheck sometimes.
