In the Eyes of the Beholder

Post by parrot » March 7, 2019, 3:14 pm

While waiting at the 3-way light near Tesco Nadee with my wife, I pointed out the family sitting in the back of the black Isuzu truck. My wife asked 'where?'......and I said 'in front of us' and she said 'where?'. Ha ha ho ho......I see black, she sees white.
And for the next 15km we talked about the reasons a vehicle owner would post a sticker outright lying about the color of their vehicle.
Anyone want to contribute?

the local maw doo in their village told them black was "unlucky" and white was "lucky???' I've also seen a sticker that says something to the effect, "my wife is not pretty.." I imagine in the same vein as the widow maker type ghost killing men in a village causing them to dress as a woman or at a minimum put red nail polish on to "fool the ghost.."
