Graham Wood - VALAINT

Post by Drunk Monkey » January 13, 2022, 8:11 am

A terrible start to 2022 as It is with great sadness we learned of the sudden passing of Graham... Valiant on UM.

A life long fan of Port Vale FC , a great friend to many it has been an honour to have known him and enjoyed his company. One of the nicest guys one could meet.

Fridays will never be the same again as he picked me up at 11;49 every week for the UFES meet up at PFs ,a time forever in my memory .. he loved life here and we have lots of memories most recently great times Christmas Eve and New Years Eve but in truth he was a real character and lit up the Friday afternoon gathering with his personality and humour.

Graham has grown up kids and a grand daughter in Stoke on Trent UK and a lovely Thai family here and i and all his many friends offer our sincere condolences to them in these very sad times.

I / we will all miss Graham massively .. gone but never forgotten... his cremation will be Saturday afternoon.

RIP MATE

Mr Jon

** Graham DID NOT pass away re Covid before anyone asks.

RIP Graham. Funny, polite and ne'er a bad word for anyone. You will be missed by many.

More lasagna for the rest on Friday though.

James Graham Wood was laid to rest this afternoon in a cremation ceromony at the temple close to his family home in Nong Sung.
It was very well attended with well over a 100 in attendance and a large contingent of expats paying their final respects.

Gone but NEVER forrgotten ..

RIP mate we will all miss you.

Very nice touch .. i was informed over night that there have been many messages of condolence posted on various Port Vale FC media outlets re Graham passing away .. not only a legend here but appears he was very well respected and had many friends at the club which he had been a life long fan.

There was a message of condolence before kick off at the League 2 home game against Swindon yesterday.
