Andrew Collins. RIP
Andrew Collins. RIP
I have been asked to post the very sad news that Andrew Collins passed away of a heart condition at Udon Government Hospital last Wednesday.
Andy leaves behind Som his wife of 27 years and a Step Son and Daughter who he raised. There is also one Grand Child left behind. Andy lived in Sukomsen for the past 20 years, but was a regular to a few drinking establishments in Udon.
I have fond memories of him and he was a genuine guy and a real character.
I recall that on the one and only occasion my work upgraded my flight because I was called back early. I showed Andy the e-ticket and he asked me had I ever flown First Class before? Of course I told him I hadn't, and although looking forward to it, I had no idea what to expect. He gave a me a nod and a knowing smile. "You only have to remember one thing" he told me. "And only use one word". When asked if you require a drink, refill or a change of beverage, just look at them straight in the eye and say "Large". He actually had a way of saying "Large", which to this day I still try to mimic.
A Top Bloke and he shall be missed.
Goodnight Andy. RIP Mate.

Re: Andrew Collins. RIP
Hi Panick
There are two ways to get to the Wat.
Highway 22 ,just before the Shell petrol station about 30 yrds, on the left is a small road.Yellow roof ,bus sala at this junction.Follow this road to the end which is a T junction. Turn right at the T junction and follow road till you come to Wat on the right hand side.
Second route.
Go past Shell petrol station and then past big white House/building on the left. About half a km past the large white building there is a turning on the left called Soi Nardon. Turn left into this road and follow road passing the Sookasam housing estate on the left. Once past the estates and its boundery wall you will come across a small cross roads. Turn left at the crossroads and follow road to the end ,where the Wat is situated.
