Rito Navarro (Papaguido) passed away!

Post by semperfiguy » March 20, 2016, 2:16 pm

I gathered this information yesterday from another forum in Udon:

Rito passed away this early AM of natural causes. My understanding is he wasn't feeling up to par, simply went to take a rest and didn't awake. I believe he was a young 55.

Survived by his lovely wife, 2 beautiful children and 1 stepson.

So far there is no mention of funeral arrangements.

Rest in Peace Marine! Semper Fi!

Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.

Condolences to Papaguido's family in the loss of their husband, father and stepfather.
I enjoyed reading his posts and threads, never met Papaguido , but he sounded like a good bloke.

Sad and shocking news...
Rito was one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to know, an absolute gentleman.
Rest in peace my friend.

One of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I've met in Udon. His contributions and assistance to forum members and others will truly be missed. Rito was just one of a heck of a nice guy and genuinely enjoyed his time in Thailand. The loss will be felt by many.

Papaguido was always the driving force behind the Marine Corps birthday parties every Nov 10, which we had the pleasure of hosting twice while we had our restaurant. Just a genuinely nice guy and always fun to be around. RIP Rito and condolences to the family.
Every day I wake up is a good day.

This is completely unexpected. I've know him since 2006, our kids go to the same school. Also we used the same gym most weekday mornings. Just a really decent family man, fun to talk to and knowledgeable, could always learn something from him. RIP Rito and sincere condolences to the family.
If anyone know when the funeral will be please post?

Fair seas and following winds Marine.
Hit 'em hard, hit 'em fast, hit 'em with the one they don't expect, and just keep hitting.
