Heart attack..not good at all..

Post by DuiDui49 » July 30, 2021, 9:17 am

We are getting older by the day,so what do we do to service our old trusted engine/body.Some of us don't care, are to afraid even to go and have a PSA test done, scared to find out that your prostate levels are maybe to high to be good for you.Not even that will send you to the hospital for a simple bloodtest to check your prostae status.-Yes,i know the PSA does only give you/us an idéa,but never the less..DO THE YEST PEOPLE.

Second spells H E A R T A T T A C K..So many diffrent factors here to be named,but look at a few markers.

*History running in your family..
*Colesterol levels.
*Are you overweight?
'Do you eat alot of prosessed food?-Yes tasty but not good for us in the longrun, and most of all,not everyday.
*Are you are drinker/smoker..well we all know that's not healthy,right..but some of us STILL do this..yes a bad habit who is very hard to quit/cut down, but POSSIBLE.
*Exercise
*S U G A R..i'm a sucker for sweets,but i know it's not good..and yes i was overdoing it BIG time..not any more..Moderation is the keey.2 % change is better then none at all.

That's to name a few non-good-markers,but still people seems not to care to much,to that extent they rather do nothing and hopes for the best OR just say to themself..i'm old soon going to die anyway..i don't bother to make a few healthy changes,well..like Khun Paul said in another post..up to the individual what he does..i agree..but at the same i'm seeing that as a way to just continue to be lazy and eat that colesterol-blood thinner-and whatever else the good old Doc.prescibe you..reason..YOUR TO LAZY to make even an effort to change bad habits to atleast better ones..like "Jello"is doing..

Now that said, there is atleast help to find here,if you care about your self..ATLEAST take a few moments to look at this video, very informative. In this video he explain what a heart attack is and how to prevent them.

Stay strong and healthy..//Alfie..:-)

Yes agree, too often p[eople are seemingly scared to actually ascertain how their body is fairing. From Colestrol to Blood pressure and then the never ending worry about the prostrate, such a small part of your body with far reaching consequences.
Weight ios always a problem here4 as we get older we do less, especially when it is HOT and HUMID , the luxury for most of us to retreat indoors and chill literally coupled with snacks ( often sweet and /or fatty ) coupled with Alcohol ( Beer/Spirits ) and a mixeer and ice to far too appealing .However the downside of that is encouraging the body to get fatter and less able to deal with whatever we pour down our throats, plus the hidden damage to Liver and Kidneys, wwe are in fact OUR OWN WORST ENEMY .

However we can all change , and try to make our bodies even a little healthier, many organs in our bodies do replicate themselves striving to renew damaged bits, but hell we have to help by eating and drinking sensibly, plus a little less sedentary lifestyle, walk if you can stop the3 never ending driving around trying top find parking space near to where you want. Walk , trust me it probably will not kill you unless you are one of the short rotund and very overweight people, then any exercise puts your body under stress.

Just make sure you have a note in your wallet, stating which flowers you prefer............lol

Yep, for people like myself it took a fairly severe heart problem to scare me out of my complacency, 2 1/2 years ago. Initial repair work in BKK hospital Udon then off to Adelaide to get specialist treatment there.

I now get a check up for everything every 6 months (about 4000 Baht @ BKK Hospital, money well spent) the results of which goto my specialist in Aus for evaluation and meds adjustments via phone consultation. I am being weened off them = a good sign.

BTW, just incase Tam is wondering:- as the meds intake falls the beer consumption increases to compensate.
