God morning Forum members !

Lovely day for a 05.30 doggiewalk..after that coffee and my Peanut Butter sandwich whith sliced banan on top.

Yesterday i got Flash Express to deliver 5 kilo of Organic Basmati Rice bought Online at Lazada.I had already tryed Villa Markets 2 diffrent brands found at this link:
https://shoponline.villamarket.com/vill ... smati+rice

Not bad not good, that said i'm no expert on diffrent Basmati rices,or any other rice for that matter.I found ONE that after using the Google i went ahead and ordered this one:
https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i9187 ... =true&mp=1

120Bath a kilo..shipping was 134Bath divided in 5..so a total of 148Bath/kilo,which i think was okey.But proof is in the pudding or shall i say,in the rice. ;)

So went to this site to get some cooking instructions:
https://www.recipetineats.com/how-to-cook-basmati-rice/

It came out wonderful, the whole house smelled of this fragrant rice..I can tell you it's worth the money, sorry Villa you just lost a Basmati customer.I can't even compare Villa with the one i bought..diffrence was felt when i was rinsing the rice, more soft and longer ricecorns..This rice is paraboild, just so you know:

Why is rice parboiled?
Parboiled rice is rice that has been boiled in the husk. Parboiling makes rice easier to process by hand, improves its nutritional profile, and changes its texture. Parboiling rice drives nutrients, especially thiamine, from the bran into the grain, so that parboiled white rice is nutritionally similar to brown rice

And here is the endresult:

And here's my early lunch today.

1Japanese Sweet Potatoe topped whith fresh Parmensan Cheese..Pea Sprouts...

Have a good and healthy day today..//Alfie :-)

you were correct tamada , but NOW i do know looked at the same model on lazada ( Haier K25B2 ) and on youtube a frier of that size i could,nt find any use for , on youtube it says only for single small portions or very limited kitchen space , and also i think its very expensive for what you get .
I did see the larger capacity ones offered but when I went and looked at the one I eventually bought (no YouTube's involved here), I decided that since this is for cooking only my farang delicacies, the 2.5 liter capacity was more than enough. There's a space on the shelf beside the restaurant-sized family rice cooker that it fills perfectly.

I use scientific methods of measurement for my frozen chips, ie. 2 big hands-full (or 3 if the lad wants some). I can get 2-4 rashers of bacon or 4-6 sausages in there. It can easily do two of pappafarangs pies at a time (or 3 if the lad wants one) and also perfect for his ~7" pizza bases. However, I am glad you are happy with the mountains of food that your cheap, 5 liter, 'fat bastards' model can produce.

WRT being only good for "single small portions", what's this thread about again?

^ We had these Jap sweet spuds at our family BBQ last week and I thought they were awesome. Mrs tam says that the rest of the tribe liked them too so they will be featuring more in her gastronomical endeavors. They will broast up nice and quick in my over-priced single-serving air fryer.

This thread is ridiculous, you cannot fry air.
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

Sorry, my iPad has a crack in the screen so I can't see the video too well but i think this is a case of stomach bacteria called Agrobacterium. This makes the cat reject any type of food that doesn't match its mood or personality. As far as the children they shouldn't be running in the road that early in the morning. They should just hide the body and move to Mexico until the heat dies off
