Fred, it's a tough one, I had the same sleeping issues. I search when up in Udon, nothing. In Bangkok, there are GNC stores; no Melatonin.. there are piles of pharmacies; no melatonin.. when I ask, they tell me to go to a cosmetics store (?????????) but, when going to the cosmetics stores, its "ah uh-huh, Me-la-to-nin..., mai-mee".... I reckon Gingko Biloba would be a no-go too! and me with Rok-CRS (Can't remember nonsense disease)...

I've looked but haven't found any. Maybe its not a approved supplement here.
You could try Valerian Root. Available at GNC. I've tried both, they both work but Melatonin works better for me.

First, I'd try the pharmacy directly across the street from Ban Hui market. The owners speak perfect English and have a variety of health-related products available. If they don't have it, perhaps they can lead you to it.
Second, you could try these websites.....they offer the product at reasonable prices. (some of the discussions on the below forums say the product is available at GNC stores (there's a GNC store in Central). Ask for เมลาโทนิน (or better yet, print out that word and show the clerk. May-lah-tow-nin

http://www.puritanthailand.com/product/ ... 0-capsules
http://www.vitaminbkk.com/vmchk/วิตามิน ... =melatonin
Finally, if you succeed in finding the product, how about post on here for future reference. Thanks

I think GNC is a acronym for General Nutrition Center.fredwilliams wrote:What is GNC?

They carry vitamins and supplements.
Central Plaza, bottom floor as your going into TOPS grocery store.
There's a herbal store next to it. You could try asking them if they have anything that promotes sleep.
