Transportation from Udon to Thung Fon

Post by Swede » February 9, 2006, 9:53 pm

Hi!

I'm going to Thung Fon in late February. What is the best/safest/cheepest way to get there from Udon?

Swede

Tjenar Svensken!

Cheapest: bus direction Sakon Nakhon or Nakon Phanom, get off at the intersection highway 22 and the Ban Chiang road, local transport from there.

Best: probably a six-pack and www.udonmap.com/minibus 8)

Safest: as above, with driver, I guess?

Nice trip  !

Do you speak swedish Loaded :-)

Minibus seems unnecessary for 2 persons. Is there any taxi service in Udon? And how much will it cost to Thung Fon? Approximately...

Minibus for two is maybe little bit over the top. For taxi maybe you could try Steve at: http://www.stevesudon.com/. As for cost, the distance is about the same as Nong Khai (+10-15 km or so), but no highway. To make a guess, 700
