PHONE VACCINATION SITE / DATA BASE

Post by Mosquito » January 27, 2023, 6:40 pm

Any info would be appreciated.

Daughter and niece (both 14 years old) have their phones registered under my wife's name, in order for Thai Health Covid Vaccination Site via phone..... phones need to be registered in their names.

Getting told kids under 15 years old can't have a phone registered in their name, is this true??

Daughter - AIS
Niece - True

Traveling during Spring Break and would like to have their vaccination status on their phones with me having a photo of their Vaccination QR Code on my phone.

Not sure about international sim cards, only confirmed that thai sim cards (DTAC, AIS, True and expect all Thai cell phone service providers in Thailand) require that the registered owner be over 17 years old.

Doubt this requirement effects international sims that would be operated in Thailand via roaming service from home (another country).

Again, the main reason I wanted to register my daughter and niece to their sim cards.....was to be able to use the Thai vaccine mobile app to show proof of their vaccination status while traveling.

If your traveling within Thailand you don't need to show anything to do with vaccination.

Agree with you.

However, not willing to take the chance that while on vacation (Vietnam) the Thai Govt won't change their Covid entry rules.

Considering the sim situation, will be getting vaccination certificates from our local hospital....then taking family to get a Thai Vaccination Passport. Already have my Thai Vaccination Passport (only required my passport, proof of vaccination, 50 baht and for me 20 minutes of filling out the form and paying then left with yellow Thai Vaccination Passport in hand).
