I was promised my license plates 30 days after buying my new Honda Wave. When I went in after 30 days was told to come back in 2 weeks. This went on for a total of 3 months untill I finally received the plate and rego disc.

If you lose your licence (through loss not confiscation) - report it to the police and get a report sheet with their signature (cost 10 baht) take it to the driving licence centre (fill in another form) with 30 baht and you will get a replacement licence (after a few hours wait of course - obligatory at that place)
