France bans Phuket Airlines on safety grounds

BBC News have reported that the French Civil Aviation Authority has published a blacklist of airlines banned from their territory on safety grounds :yikes:, this list includes Phuket Airlines.

I always did wonder how they could fly to the UK so cheaply.

Now there's the pot calling the kettle black. Bloody arrogant froggys determining the safety standards of others when they still flaunt international standards by using the French language during air traffic control operations. There has been a number of ground accidents and near misses because of the confusion this creates

When will Phuket Airlines be issuing their winter schedule? I will be looking to book a flight between Chiang Mai and Udon sometime in December. If I can't fly then it will have to be the old air-con bus again.
Why don't THAI do that route. After all CM and Udon are major cities. Is t not economically viable ? :? :?:

Steve,Phuket Air has leased all but one of its planes to airlines in the Middle East.The only one left will fly between Bangkok and the owner's resort somewhere around Krabi.
