Save your money and get your Nike Airs on, BM. Remember to balance your suitcase on your head.

It can be done! After Immigration you'd better go to the 4th floor (Departures) and grab a cab that's dropping people off so you don't lose time doing the queuing up for taxi.
Strictly speaking they are not allowed to pick up people there but it happens all the time.

Thanks for your advice everyone. It sounds like I should definitely give it a go, but get a taxi and not the bus??!! ;)

Thanks. :D

Yes, taxi a must to be on the safe side, I got charged 400 baht including the toll fees & airport surcharge, I gave him 500 baht though 'cos he was an OK guy and
assured me he could do the journey in 45 min, - he did it in 40.

Confirm the same timings that Mally had.

Did it 4 weeks ago and made the evening flight to Udon, no problems, had an hour to spare.

It wasnt raining but it was a Friday.

Arjay,

Will you do me a favour and tell me how you got on with this trip. I'll be doing it in November on a Saturday afternoon so I'd be interested if you came a cropper anywhere or found it easy.

Thanx in advance...
