In the Center yesterday spotted a new stall just outside Tops run by army recruits, selling mushrooms, by the bag at 40bht but more interestingly in grow your own containers at 12bht. according to the sales guy you place them in any dark spot , cupboard etc, pull out the plug and in 5 days you will have mushrooms and can continue to cultivate them every 5 days for approx a further 5 months .No idea if that is correct but bought some to try.

By the bag at 49bht, or

grow your own , 12bht.

well took 10days before the first crop but now we are getting a basket like this nearly every day.

Thanks, very informative. I bought the fresh ones (40B) few times and the pickled ones (10B ) once. Both excellent.
I think i ll go buy the grow your own and try in a cardboard boxe , no closet.

Just bought 1 fresh pack, 3 pickled packs and 1 pack to grow. The young attendant told MTG that just remove the cap blocker and mushroom will come out, even if not removed the mushrooms coming out as we could see in their display this noon. He told us that we should sprinkle lightly once in a while after the mushroom start coming out.
Very tasty mushrooms. Enjoy...

Tried these several months ago. Put in our small out-house on their sides.Gave a little splash of water now and then.Yeah, got mushrooms for a few weeks, then the bags dried up.The bags are filled with, looks like Lum Khow shucks. Or fine sawdust. Maybe I did something wrong!
