English Custard Powder

Anyone know where I can get Custard Powder for my Christmas pudding? I couldn't find in Tesco.

I normally get Birds custard in Tops but the stock is very sporadic. However CC stock the tins of ready made which are
quite tasty.

Make your own? its only cornflour and Milk bit of lemon for taste

There is a recipe for custard here: http://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipe/ho ... L4372.html that is cooked in a microwave oven.

BTW, Bird's custard is egg free as Mrs Bird was allergic to eggs.

Hi,
Custard on Christmas pud. Yuk. Try white sauce.
There are plenty of recipes for both on Google. If you cannot find in shop. Easy to make. Or follow TB advice and visit CC.
Don't forget to put the 5B coins in.

We have Royallee Brand custard powder available here at our new city centre (falang) food shop located at our restaurant opposite Central Plaza. Instructions in English on the box.

Plus HP sauce, Branstons, Sarsons, bacon and sausages etc. etc.
