This Week's Shopping Deal
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Tops is doing the same as Tesco, except not as drastic. Strange as it might be they seem to be moving outward into the mall area, or as I see it, a total disaster. It’s almost like they are trying to hide things.
I guess the idea is that this is suppose to increase sales, would love to see the sales figures of before and after. I for one spend less and leave pissed-off.
end rant.

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Dropped by TOPS just to grab something quick and was tripped up by the new layout... and literally by an unmarked 3" conduit between the obvious temporary locations of two chest freezers. My first take is they have expanded and relocated that 'food court' out the front. I will need to check it out during the week. It's annoyingly crowded on weekends as is it so with the rearrangement of the deckchairs, it will be a proper mess.RLTrader wrote: ↑September 6, 2019, 10:02 pmTops is doing the same as Tesco, except not as drastic. On the topic of rearrangement (and nothing intrinsically to do with shopping deals) Thai Watsadu is going through a steady remake-remodel as well.

Today in Makro, 500g Arabica beans from Nan Province, 235 Baht. I haven't opened/ground the beans just yet, but I'm guessing they'll be good.

That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
mm got the right name . you did not say they were half price and just they were 109 baht and would you expect me to drive 45kms to tops on a motorbike just to check the size when it was really simple for you to put it on your post .Old Grumpy wrote: ↑August 29, 2019, 10:35 amWhat ruddy difference does the size make? I posted because they were half price, get off your arse and go and look if your interested.
The tesco gravy granules used to be 40 baht for 200gms so i wanted to know what the bargain was for 109 baht . I f they were half price perhaps they were the bigger size 500gm and i would have gone and bought some . nearly all the bargains on here have the size except for you . Have a look

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Bic Flex3 handle and 4 blades only 158 baht in Tesco Nadee.
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
That's approx 40 Baht per blade - the DE blades I buy are 4 Baht !
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Apologies if anyone has mentioned this before but Big C is carrying a few Morrison’s lines at very reasonable prices, let’s hope this carries on, my favourite was yeast extract 120 baht for a big jar, handy when I run out of Marmite.
