It’s not, it’s just following the content of the recent posts on the thread.
A bit like when you posted about Chelsea Boots & Teddy Boys on the Beef Wellington & Pies thread & no one was bothered

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Index have got a deal on super soft & comfortable slippers. BOGOF (pairs obviously before there’s the influx of smartass comments from the usual suspects. You know who you are) you don’t need to get the same, you can choose different styles & or sizes

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
The first week in April brings us Easter weekend. Anybody out there know where we can shop for Easter Eggs and possibly Hot-X-Buns?
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Boom, look what I’ve just seen advertised.
I expect it’ll sell out quickly with the number of culturally bereft jockular expats in the area who’s arteries could be clearing due to lack of rowies. It’ll be just like home
Lang may yer lum reek!
PS
I chose to use this shopping thread rather the new one which has been inexplicably created

The latter I reckon. Maybe Bangkok malls ran later than our Central ever did and need their heads pulled in.stattointhailand wrote: ↑April 14, 2021, 6:42 pmerr close from 9pm on 15th, and not re open until further notice OR close at 9pm each evening until further notice?
makes a bit of difference
Sorry for any panic attacks or booze buying that was induced by my speed reading.
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Doesn’t Central close at 10pm anyway?
Hardly seem worth the effort for an hour.
I remember years ago taking The Boy to watch a movie & it finished at 11pm. Everyone from the cinema was walking round the shops aimlessly trying to find a door to get out. A security guard eventually spotted us & escorted us to the loading bays where we had to jump off

Pretty much wrong Niggs. slan-ge-var. Is the typical toast to long life and happiness. 'Lang may yer lum reek' is basically an eastern central Scotland saying which is hoping you have enough money to keep coal/peat in your fire to heat and provide comfort through the long winter months (a lot of the summer as well) New Year, 'Hogmanay' in real speak would have visitors bring a bottle of whisky and a lump of coal as a good luck symbol to your home. Culturally bereft I know but we never got round to putting bells round our ankles and having 12 year old virgins dancing around poles. I am really upset we missed out on that one.Niggly wrote: ↑April 7, 2021, 5:25 pmJockanese translate says it meansdunroaming wrote: ↑April 7, 2021, 5:13 pmYuk - ROWIES anyday but not sure what the phrase reference smoking is forNiggly wrote: ↑April 7, 2021, 3:24 pmBoom, look what I’ve just seen advertised.

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
They couldn't find anyone who would eat the things last time, so they got sent to Biafra.
The Biafrans took one taste and sent them back again saying they were hungry , but not THAT hungry
Hence they are available again
