OMG timmy, not the golden one?!

DM's theory makes a load of sense, but as Villa has a informal tie-in with Iceland products and Tops frequently have Waitrose products, let's hope that CPN gets into bed with another imported product line.

TBH, the amount of Tesco imported stuff has been on a steady death spiral for at least a couple of years. I really noticed this at the Pattaya outlets and they had a far bigger farang customer quota. Meanwhile, Big C Nittayo does have a nicely consolidated import aisle that hasn't gotten any smaller. It does have just about everything I need and frequent 'yellow sticker' discounts too.

I’m getting perilously close to running out of gravy granules. Anyone seen some on their travels?

My pantry about 8 minutes ago.

But there's plenty Goldenfry brand in Cheese 2 Meet You and also the full range of Bisto at Villa or you can burn money driving between the Tesco's and end up with nowt.

Goldenfry, that’s the one I was thinking of instead of the non existent Bisto in Tesco at a budget price.
I bought some Bisto in Villa a while back & worked out while the pie was cooking that a good drenching of gravy cost more than the pie, chips & veg combined (I could be exaggerating for effect here readers)
Think I’ll give some Goldenfry a whirl, I haven’t forgotten my humble upbringing

PEANUT BUTTER...Plastic restoration...!!!

Post by marcus1 » January 27, 2021, 7:28 pm

Yesterday I decided to detail my girls Suzuki scooter as it was looking a bit past it's age of 10 years.
So with the bike looking all good bar the non painted plastic panels which had gone from original black to a white milky patchy grey so much so I thought of replacing said panels.
So last night I got onto the net to search for a product that would return them to their former glory and happen to stumble across a video post that declared peanut butter is the way to go.
So up first thing this morning and armed with a cup of tea in one hand and a jar of peanut butter in the other I a headed outside to the bike with the thought of giving it a damn good buttering while hearing my girl laughing her head off in the background.
I did what was said and applied the butter the same as you would apply polish and one hour later the old ugly tired plastic looks the same way it did when I took it off the showroom floor 10 years ago, even my girl was in awe.
I never would of thought that peanut butter could do this.
Anyway give it a try..!!
NOTE...I would not park the bike near a temple for a few days as the temple dogs might be tempted to have a taste..!!
And you do smell like a satay for a few hours after..!!

Being a pop up shop it maybe folded in, 14k you got off lightly, that's for 12 months less than one round of golf a month
