This Week's Shopping Deal
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
NOT FOOD ,
But those of us in the larger sizes, Big C now have for sale Rosso Underpants up to 4 XL sizes, I was taken aback as normally try to squeeze into 2 XL .
Also Noticed T Shirts GUNZE made, up to 2XL, fits me comfortably .
For info for those who have problems acquiring their comfortable size .

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
All the McVities sold here seem to be sweeter than I recall in the UK. I really noticed this when making a base for cheesecakes. There's a New Zealand brand (forget the name) that's much better but haven't seen them for a while. The Waitrose ones in Tops were also less sugary but again, not seen them in ages.
I'll need to check out Top World. Never tried it yet.

Sorry for the lack of info i was at Central and i had problems logging into Udonmap,i could not upload pics.
Yes It s a display ( 10 m X 10 M ) of Marks & Spencer products, mostly food and cosmetics. They had a small clothes section. Have a pleasant evening. Stay safe.

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Appreciate the info, I live a long way out of Udon. Looks a good display of home comfort foods. Cheers. Will visit over the weekend.
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Is the M&S pop-up shop still operating out of Central, until the 31st January? Some good bargains to be had, excellent chocolate biscuits, a range of shortbread, and Scottish Oatcakes. Some items , if you buy 5, become half-price.
Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
Yes the sale is still on and the sign says up to Jan 31. Less food more accessories
Happy shopping.
Stay safe.

For those that like Kellogs Special-K breakfast cereal but can't get an overdraft, it's on special for 165 baht at Tops right now (reduced from ~199 baht).

I’ve said it before but your attention span will have skipped it by now so here it is again, you should probably not measure others by your own standards

I agree 747 Expensive! But Transportation has to be paid for imports
Those that think otherwise, Probably in a better financial position thus inexpensive to them!

You mean Mr DIY or a new section within Tesco selling competing items?

Re: This Week's Shopping Deal
The thread is called This Week's Shopping Deal. A 16% saving on the regular price is a deal.
Likewise, Villa has 'buy two get one free' on Harvey Fresh Australian OJ. That's three 1 liter cartons for 190 baht. A 33% saving on the regular price is a deal.
Feel free to star a thread to debate the cost of imported food on a tight budget any time you want. But do it somewhere else.

Kikkoman Soy Sauce. You know the upmarket imported stuff in the nice glass decanter like bottle. Well noticed in Big C earlier the glass bottles are 150ml & 82 baht but the plastic refill bottle with 600ml is reduced to 82 baht as well. Keep your glass bottles folks
For the avoidance of doubt, I’m pretty certain this deal is available to anyone, even those with poor financial management skills thus making the purchase of imports seem expensive to them
