Well, Dean you did yourself proud, the Hot Cross Buns were excellent and of a good size too. The cottage Pie we had earlier today was equally as delicious thanks for making our Easter one to remember, I almost forgot that we are now 6 hours ahead of the U.K

Dean is closing up shop and moving by the end of this month. Freezers will go in a couple of days. Still has some pies left. He will be moving to Kutchap. He will still make pies there. I believe that he is hoping to have a couple of outlets in Udon stock them.

Hopefully Dean will post on here with more details.

New shop is on main road from udon, as you enter Kut Chap shopping area, Lotus is on your right, you will see a Gold Shop on the left, next turn left and his shop is two shops from the corner

Dean may or may not change his mind but when I chatted to him it is going to be a bakery, maybe coffee and bakery in the morning but he wants to shut by 5:30pm

Sorry slow updates. Still rewiring the new place. Should be up and running by next week. Lots of building work being done.

Good luck with the move Dean , bearing in mind the new location it might be advisable to update on here (and FB obviously) when and what you got coming out the oven and/or in stock .. could well be a weekly/fortnightly trip to Costa Del Kutchap for my quiche n custard tart fix... BTW them small Corned beef n spud pies are bloomin loverly.

I think we should all understand that following a few health p[ropblems that Dean may wish for a quieter life..
While cooking can be stressful, it is not as stressful as catering to peoples culinary needs

So reading between the lines, he will I think continue cooking his wares, ensuring availability in Udon, while minimising open door policy to possible just a drop in coffee shop with a possibility of a little hot something .
The guy has made enormous progress on the health front and we should all be grateful he is continuing to make is culinary delights.

Absolutely agree with you! Dean's health is priority and it's great to see him making progress. A quieter life with a focus on cooking for himself and a few close customers sounds like a perfect balance. I'm just happy he'll still be sharing his delicious creations with us, even if it's in a more low-key setting. Thanks

Getting there, hand rail being put in today, got someone going through cleaning everywhere as building makes a mess. Hopefully we will be lighting up the ovens again and a couple of days. More news when ready

Yep that's where we're at now. But our pies are available at Cheese to meat you.
Talking of which I'm going to upset the Scots. Tuesday I'm dropping off scotch pies (lamb) to cheese to meat you, and I will be adding some onion in them.
I'll let you Scots argue that one out.
