Smiths crisps

The original imported from Aussie, 20 assorted flavoured varieties in a box, just 189bht in Tops. These are the genuine Smiths crisps. forgotten what the original taste like, only 9bht a packet.

Smiths Crisps? WellWell.Thought they folded up years ago! Last time I had a packet, it had a blue bag of salt!

I thought Smiths/Walkers/Lays were the same company just with different names in different countries

They are .. Walkers cease to being imported to Thailand approx 2 years ago so now Smiths come from OZZ same crisps in the bag , Lays is the Asian brand name manufactured here under license.

Chuck in Golden Wonder as well .. same crisps different brand name , formerly made in SCUNTHORPE

Pomegranate flavour was all the rage in Australia during the 1950s and 60s - and they were bloody cheap, because they were heavily subsidised.

But the locals soon got sick of them, because, amongst other things, the quality was very hit and miss. Also, many of them suffered from so much wine being used in the production process.

If memory serves, wasnt Bovril the flavour that used to split opinion the most, you either loved or hated them.

10 or so years ago Lays had, I think it was chicken and lemon flavour which were quite yummy

Top's also has Red Rock Deli Crisps/chips with Australian Sea Salt on sale for 99 baht and 1 bag left of Honey Soy Chicken...same price.

Assume it's also an Australia branded company.
