Well, I think it works well in Rugby and I reckon it would work well in Football. Remember the night when Robbie Fowler was playing (I can't remember who) and the Ref gave a penalty in favour of Robbie because of a suspected foul. But old Robbie was gracious enough to say 'no, it was my mistake'.
