BKKStan...

I am following the March Madness very carefully...We had 6 Big 12 teams in and after the first round we still have 5 teams...Only lost Baylor.....Big 12 is GREAT but OU is the best in the Big 12...Boomer Sooner..

We are also big fans of the March Madness. Keep up the good work Stan.
Even though my alma mater was knocked out in the first round, as expected.

Keep it going, Stan. I'm a huge college hoops fan and wish we could see some of these games. Good to see the only team from my home state, 5 Michigan State, got past 12 Temple on Thurs.

UCLA and UNC are the two teams to make it to the Final Four so far!Kansas has to play Davidson and Memphis squares off aginst Texas!

Davidson has been the surprize team so far.

East Region 3 Louisville 73
1 UNC 83

Final
Box Score
West Region 3 Xavier 57
1 UCLA 76

The cream is definitely rising to the top.If Memphis and Kansas both win their games, the Final Four will be all #1 seats!

I don't really have a favorite team,I just really like college ball and the team concept involved!I really like watching UNC,but being a California guy,I feel some desire to cheer for UCLA!

Amazing that there were no big upsets. The last AP Poll ranks these top Final Four teams as follows:

AP Top 25: Mar 17

The Associated Press Top 25 Men's College Basketball poll, with number of first-place votes and record, total points and previous ranking:

Records through Mon Mar 31, 2008
AP Top 25Rank Team Record Pts Last Week

1. North Carolina (53)
Last game: vs Louisville, W 83-73 (3/29)
Next game: Kansas (4/5)
(29-2) 1779 1

2. Memphis (13)
Last game: vs Texas, W 85-67 (3/30)
Next game: UCLA (4/5)
(30-1) 1710 2

3. UCLA (5)
Last game: vs Xavier, W 76-57 (3/29)
Next game: Memphis (4/5)

4. Kansas (1)
Last game: vs Davidson, W 59-57 (3/30)

Memphis has only lost one game all season but my pick is UNC.

Being a Big 12 booster...got to root for Kansas...Was hoping for a Kansas-Texas Championship game...

Well it looks like Kansas versus Memphis Tuesday for the Championship. As Memphis stuffed UCLA and Kansas ran away for a 17 pt lead at halftime over UNC.Though UNC had cut it down to a 4 pt. lead in the second half,I see that Kansas has stretched it to 15 pts with 2 minutes to go!

Make that a 19 pt. lead with 1:20 to go!Case closed!

Win by 18 pts,84-66!
UNC held to 35% shooting!

I at least got one Big 12 team in the final...Now just one more game and Kansas wins another Championship...

Only game that Memphis has lost all season was to then ranked #2 Tennessee so this should be a close game. Kansas has been there before and should be favored by a few points. Guess I'll have to pick Memphis but all of my picks, so far, have been wrong. :?

No TV coverage here. May have to look for a torrent download in a few days.

We are together on this polehawk!I am mildly surprized at the final, but I agree,Memphis has the most consistency and their guards are darn near unstoppable!Should be a great game, wish it was on UBC! :(

The only way the results could have been better would have been for Okla to be in the final, but Kansas certainly held up the great tradition of Big 12 basketball....

My West Coast friends are still suffering shell shock from the football season and then to see their teams not reach the final...not a happy group..
