747 will be after my hide for the tardiness in posting the important soccer results from Scotland. With great sadness, Brechin City fell to Formartine, 4-3. But, the Tangerines are back in the gravy with a one-nothing upset over Ayr.

Brechin City got back on track with a 5-0 shellacking of Huntly. That will get 747 to sit up and take notice.

Sadly, both Carnoustie-Panmure and Dundee United lost. The former were edged by Dundee NE, 2-1, and Dundee United lost by a score normally associated with cheating the Evertons to Raith Rovers, 1-0.

There are mixed results from Scotland. The good news is that Brechin City shutout Nairn County, 1-0. However, the bad news is that Greenock Morton knocked off the Dundee United squad, 3-2.

As usual, the results from Scotland were mixed. Brechin City took care of business with a 3-1 victory over Rothes. However, Carnoustie-Panmure came a cropper with a 2-1 defeat at the hands/feet of Montrose. Dundee United kept their hopes alive of a first-place finish by downing Inverness CT by a 1-0 count.

Brechin City has been in top form over their past two games. On the 25th of January they shutout Lossiemouth 3-0, and on the 27th, Brechin City thrashed Strathspey Thistle, 6-1.

Dundee United only managed a 0-0 tie against a tough Dunfermline squad.

There were a trio of stellar results from Scotland yesterday. Brechin City downed Lossiemouth again by a 2-0 count. Carnoustie Panmure tossed aside Blairgowrie, 6-1, and Dundee United won a nailbiter over Ayr, 2-1.

Neil Warnock appointed interim manager at Aberdeen FC.

The 75-year old veteran manager has been in the dugout for over 40 years, covering almost 2,000 matches – the most of any manager in the history of English professional football. That has taken him to 15 different clubs including Sheffield United, Leeds Utd, Crystal Palace, QPR, Cardiff City, Middlesbrough and, most recently, Huddersfield Town.

In his managerial career, he’s had a remarkable eight promotions at seven different clubs – another English Football League record, including leading three different teams to the English Premier League.

Brechin City's game was postponed yesterday, but they skunked Inverurie Loco Works, 2-0, in their last action.

Carnoustie-Panmure have two ties to show for their recent games. It was a one all tie with Lochee, and a 2 all draw with Tayport.

The devastating result was Raith Rovers dumping the Tangerines, 2-1.

We're lagging a bit behind on the important soccer scores from Scotland. It's time to catch up:

Brechin City and Banks O'Dee fought to a 0-0 tie; however, Brechin City thumped Wick Academy 3-1.

Carnoustie-Panmure were edged out 5-1 by Downfield before bouncing back for a 5-3 victory over Dundee St. James.

Dundee United only drew with Partick Thistle, 1-1. However, they were able to get by Greenock Morton, 1-0.

You don't happen to have a link to the points table by any chance, do you?

Good news from Scotland on Saturday. The big three were all victorious in convincing fashion.

Brechin City trounced Deveronvale, 5-1.

Carnoustie-Panmure toppled East Craigie, 5-2.

Dundee United routed hapless Abroath, 4-0.

To top it off it is raining in Khon Kaen for the first time in five months.

And he's gone...

Warnock lasted just 33 days. He failed to win a match in the league but led Aberdeen to cup victories against Bonnyrigg and Killie. That 3-1 victory sees the Dons in the Scottish Cup semi-finals. However, their consecutive league losses stretched to 11 games after losing to Dundee yesterday. That puts them just 3-points above the relegation playoff spot with only four games remaining in the regular season.

Like Everton in the EPL, Aberdeen FC have never been relegated since they were elected to the Scottish top flight in 1905. Interim manager Peter Leven has warned his players their performances are nowhere near good enough and insists the Dons are not too good to go down.

There was a big disappointment yesterday when Dunfermline Athletic upended Dundee United, 3-1.

However Brechin City garnered another win by downing Clachmacurrin Football Club, 2-0.

Carnoustie-Panmure was only able to manage a 1-1 tie with Broughty Athletic.

Aberdeen FC have an "impressive" new manager and support team who will be taking over AFTER the current season ends.

In the meantime, the current (former assistant) manager has four games remaining in which to steer the Dons clear of relegation, something they've easily avoided since their Inception in the Scottish top flight.

Last season, they finished third behind the "usual suspects" so how could the wheels have come off so badly this season?

Spoiler alert: underfunded by ignorant, greedy and sh*t ownership that denied competent managers the primary ingredient of success.

It was a trio of one goal victories for our favourite Scottish soccer/football teams yesterday. Chaiyo!

Brechin City remains tied for first with their 2-1 win over Brora Rangers. Carnoustie-Panmure saw off Lochee Harp 3-2. Dundee United kept their six-point stranglehold on first place by dousing Ayr 1-0.
