A BARGAIN @ CIRCA 3MIL QUID Alan .. our saviour Mr Hilton paying off all the clubs debts immediately and my beloved club have escaped total extinction which will mean a huge sigh of relief and buzz around Lincolnshires most high profile tourist destination..

So despite your bitterness due to Evertons current terrible situation please allow me my few minutes , hours , days , weeks , months , years decades of joy without your inane poorly worded comments..

Even Jack is getting into the spirit of things wearing his Scunny beanie and needed a ly down n nap after all the excitement

First away win of the season and at the "fortress" that is the Shay. All this and a new owner, you must have some chook balmoral today to celebrate.

Fatman Ashley might have been a right pain, but the one thing he did do was make sure the club made money, unlike your guy who has spent 1/2 billion quid to get the team where Ashley had Newcastle (fighting relegation) =;

With Big Dunc's 20% win rate as Everton's manager, Forest Green's future's so bright, they're wearing shades.

Me Hilton bought the whole set up , club Ground and all surrounding land , his first statement reads very well especially paying off tax bill in the next 48 hours followed by all other debts ASAP.

The 25th January 2023 is a day all Scunny fans will write in their diary .. =D>

As a footnote most savvy Iron fans still expect the club to be relegated again including me .. but this is way outweighed by purely being saved from extinction.

The futures bright ..........the futures claret n blue

Wednesday proved to be a landmark day for Scunthorpe United in more ways than one.

The beleaguered National League strugglers, subject of a winding-up petition from HM Revenue and Customs and under a transfer embargo, found out the club had been taken over while on the bus to their away game at Halifax.

Buoyed by the good news, the Iron promptly went and won 1-0 to give them their first victory on the road since 26 December 2021.
Halifax 0-1 Scunthorpe
