May i refer the right honourable MEMBER for Nong Khai to my post on the EPL thread ...

Being a realist not a blue nose dreamer who thinks his chosen club are something they arent I predicted Scunnys loss bang on 3-1... pleased for the towns community that there still is a club to follow.

New owner 7 days
New manager 5 days
All debts paid
New players coming in
New electronic scoreboard
Bigger attendances even at the bottom of the NL
Money being pushed into sponsorships etc

WAY WAY better than where we could of been Alan .. and im thankful for that , so at the moment scorelines are secondary and im sure the new set up will turn things round but ..it takes time not a few days...

Now isnt it time to take yer hamster for a walk on the prom.. my NK mate at Likit craft beer told me he saw you strutting , chest puffed out with what he described as a hamster or rodent of some kind .. a tad smaller than a German Shepperd but at least you got a new friend now who is on your wave length mentally, just dont scre him up making him wear an Everton shirt ok !!

Enjoy your win ..thay dont happen often

Loving the "new electronic scoreboard" so their withering flock can see those big, fat "0's" easier.

Local business man and sponsor supplied the new scoreboard ...many thank to Mr Roj.

Strange stat .. Scunny attendances in the NL have been up on the previous season when in L1... the new owner manager bounce plus loads of promos managed to get 5000 home fans to attend on Friday night so your withering flock is a tad off the mark jammy..

Are you still reeling from KP ripping you a new arse on the war thread

I believe KP's the one who can't sit down but I'm still waiting to be fact checked on that.

God! how I miss Whistler.

Two more great new signings in the bag at Scunny ...

an experienced goal keeper .. 6ft 8" .. https://www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/new ... -the-iron/

followed by a prolific striker .. https://www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/new ... s-side-up/

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT .. ITS CLARET N BLUE

Stay up or not remains to be seen , the club has been saved from extinction and there is an enthused buzz both at the club and the town since the new owner came in and has done exactly what he promised ..

It is possible that he has gone into hibernation again after his statements that Italy was going to become a fascist state turned out to be incorrect.

Perhaps he came to the conclusion that not enough people on the Map take him as seriously as he takes himself. :-k

I never made any such statement. Another example of why I have scaled back my involvement on this site.

Gutless wonders make false or exaggerated statements all the time on this forum, but never admit to their lies when called out.

Add LYM to the long list.
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

LYM is OK, Whistler, he's just twisting your tail for sh!!ts and giggles. Besides, this is a target rich environment, why would you want to scale back?
