Not quite.

The (real) football team I associate with are not perennial losers like the SUFC.

And hallelujah for that. [-o<

I was.

My verandah was crowded with Liverpool supporters, all hail and well met, watching the game.

And then Brighton scored their second goal, and the scousers all scurried off into the night.

I was shocked, but not surprised. ;)

I can assure you, TikTok, that my portico was occupied by all 7 of Ban Dung's Liverpool supporters.

It seems none of them had the wherewithal to figure out how to watch the game on their own black & white HMVs, and as an act of charity, I was happy to welcome them over.

You can't imagine how excited they were to see a colour TV.

One of them even bought over a carton of warm Archa cans, to liven up the evening.

It was all going well, despite the fact they were speaking amongst themselves in some unintelligible English dialect - until that second Brighton sausage roll.

You know the rest.

Any word on Scunnys sponsors? I reckon it went downhill after they were picked up by Ann Summers.

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG don't sponsor SUFC but the local BMW dealership does.

Full list of sponsors here. Thank God for the Lincolnshire Co-op, eh?

WELL DONE Tammy .. nicely sauced info there proving you really are a closet fan.

Big game tonight home against high flying Barnet .. 6 thats SIX Alan new signings yesterday and a guaranteed noisy bumper crown to welcome them all and the new manager ...alas im predicting at best a draw for the Iron as will take a while to sort out the right pegs in the right oiles.

New keeper , striker and a CD mooted for signing in next day or so.

New pies n catering .. and the Iron bar getting new improved beer on draft =D> =D>

The BIGGEST game this weekend is tonight when Scunny take on high flying Barnet at Glanford Park .. this is a real tuff test for the new Scunny managerial team and with so many new signings its anyones guess how the Iron will line up..

DM being a realist predicts a 1 -3 to Barnet .. but hope im wrong and can scrap a draw so not to burst the new owner bubble [-o< ..... ticket sales gone bonkers for tonights game , must be the new pies n beer in the Iron Bar !!!

Great first interview from Jimmy Dean the new Iron manager..

Sadly ANOTHER DM score prediction is bang on ..3 -1 to Barnet , only positive over 5000 turned up to show support which is 2000 more than normal and a fantastic effort bearing in mind Scunny are bottom of the league.

First game for the new gaffa did not go as planned but hes only been here a few days.

I'm not bothered about the Dagenham & Redbridge game but I'd really like to see Scunthorpe travel to Wrexham and beat them on the 21st.
