Something to do wiv them upper class schoolboys that spend half the game with their head between their teamates legs.
When that fun stops they stand in lines and lift each other up in the air by holding them round the hips/waist/bum
And don't get me started on the misshaped balls ......... Strange sport
Yep - the only thing that could make it worse would be if they start propelling themselves forward, in an exaggerated motion and without the ball, and prior to any, or minimal, human contact.

Or, God forbid, fall or flop to the ground and start writhing, after an opponent passes within arm's length of them.

It's something learned at schoolboy level Jack, if you like being groped by the fat sweaty kids you play rugger, if you spend your time diving out of their reach they put you in the footy team

Thanks for the clarification, statts.

But I am left wondering about all those round ball divers and floppers who didn't enjoy the benefits of an English Public School education. :-k

No public school education meant no chance of learning the dorm pranks of the seniors, so no chance to play rugger old chap

You can see the lack of being brung up proper every time you see an EPL manager patting his 'boys' on the bum when they're substituted. That Pip and Klopp characters especially just can't seem to keep their bloody hands to themselves.

Coventry - Huddersfield game postponed as the Wasps can't sort out the buggered pitch again.

A spokesperson for the Arena said it was "unfortunate" it had not been possible to prepare the pitch in time for Sunday's game...

"Coventry City were understandably keen to play at home despite the extremely short turnaround following the Commonwealth Games, and Birmingham 2022 agreed to accommodate the request, despite having an exclusive tenancy agreement until 14 August.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Commonwealth Games said they had signed an official tenancy agreement to use the stadium from 8 July until 14 August.

"After a contract was agreed for Coventry City Football Club to return to the Coventry Stadium, Birmingham 2022 was asked whether it could accommodate CCFC matches within our tenancy," they added.

"To assist the football club, we rearranged our derigging schedule to make the stadium available on 7,10 and 14 August.

Has Swann left Scunny yet?

Was wondering if he is now in charge of Udon FC based on their league position

Is it soccer season again? Did the Evertons get a new goaltender yet? Are you a fan of Toronto F.C., the Seattle Sounders, the Vancouver Whitecaps et al. Toronto is just 2 points out of a playoff spot with about 5 games left in the season. Thus, you might be able to transfer the Toronto goaltender to star for the Evertons.
You only pass through this life once, you don't come back for an encore.
