Typical "sods law" started the window with 5 keepers, let 2 go and got a new number one in, so back to 4, let Dubs go to Man U as they have more games for back up keeper to play than us with Europe, and on the next day Darlow picks up an injury which will keep him out until after World Cup leaving only Pope & Gilespie. Seems crazy but Newcastle have been the same for years right back to the sixties .... either we have 2 x number ones with one not playing for months on end, then when one gets injured the other gets injured as well ..... Steve Harper/Shay Given /Pawel/Shaka :roll:
