You can never predict anything in football but, I would be astonished if Marcelo goes to Everton. Unfortunate for them as he's one of the few who could get them out of this mess.

Arnaut Danjuma
Arnaut Danjuma
Tottenham Hotspur are attempting to make an audacious late attempt to hijack Everton’s move for Arnaud Danjuma.

The Blues – who want to bring in two attacking reinforcements this month – are hoping to make the Dutch international their first signing of the January transfer window but their plans could now be scuppered by the Londoners muscling in on their deal.

The ECHO understands that on Monday, Danjuma’s loan move from Villarreal to Everton looked close with the forward having undertaken a medical. But contrary to some reports, paperwork was not completed - and Spurs have now offered the 25-year-old the opportunity to join them with the player travelling to London to discuss a potential switch.

Unfortunately when you make a lot of tackles its normal to mistime the odd one. Thats Tripps 5th Yellow this season (in 20 odd games) and Bruno's 4th. For comparison (in Premier league games only) Onana has 5 x Yellows and Gordon SIX. As you dont like Dirty B*****ds on your team perhaps you had better sell them both :-$

BTW 8 of the clean sheets have been in EPL matches so it IS the right thread smart *rse

Sean Dyche about to be announced as Everton manager (unless anyone else comes in for him .......anyone). Does this mean that Mosri has connected his brain at last? If Everton are to have a cat in hells chance they had to appoint Dyche ahead of Bielsa who would have guaranteed relegation

Bielsa, 67, expressed reservations about taking over in mid-season and whether the squad would fit his high-intensity and physically demanding style.
