Meanwhile the toon record another "shut out" at Selhurst Park their 8th consecutive Premier League clean sheet. The last time the toon defense was breached was NOVEMBER 6th when Southampton scored an 89th min consolation goal (1 - 4) after Newcastle had taken defenders off to rest them.
Newcastle now gone 15 games unbeaten, and that would have been 22 (going back to last season) if the VAR cameras at Anfield worked properly

There's hope for The Evertonians, I remember when Man City were in the 3rd tier, 1998 - 1999, they played my local team, Colchester United, fan base 3,500, Man City 40,000.
Everton has a regular home support of 40,000 fans, where there are people there's cash to be made.
They'll be back, but not in our time.

He's got his little y-fronts and he's got his little vest, Chaz Jankel, 1998. Mash it up Harry.
Re: EPL 2022 / 2023
That's an interesting point. Although, am I right in thinking Man City's climb back to the Premiership was linked to a foreign buy and the associated funding? The same could be true for Everton should they drop and harbour a need to recover their place. The people at the top need to move on not just Frank.

Perhaps Gen Prayut or that nice Khun Anutin will buy the Evertons and follow in Thaksin's footsteps
Re: EPL 2022 / 2023
555! Takkers had a bit more cash. The General would certainly have a CV worth considering though; look at me, I've been running a country for years, Everton should be a doddle.

Re: EPL 2022 / 2023
Based on their current record, they would do away with the offside law and then ban anyone from crossing the halfway line ...... seem to be ideal candidates to run the Evertons
Re: EPL 2022 / 2023
I think there needs to be more scrutiny into who buys football clubs in England. I think that was promised after the Bury fiasco but I reckon those Hollywood dipsh!ts went ahead and bought Wrexham after that.
The Glazers at Man Utd, Farhad Moshiri and his board (Moshiri - shareholder and chairman of a Russian holdings company), the Bonecutters at your club, Swann at Scunthorpe and even SISU at Coventry. English football attracts characters with a questionable approach to strategy.

Hmm.....
So far this weekend:
- 3 games where neither team bothered the scorers
- another 3 teams did likewise, meaning half the teams in the competition are incapable of even scoring
Doesn't get much more exciting than that.

Yeah, they're a joy to watch. Remind us all how many 0-0s and 1-0s have been in that run.stattointhailand wrote: ↑January 22, 2023, 2:34 pmMeanwhile the toon record another "shut out" at Selhurst Park their 8th consecutive Premier League clean sheet. @ 747 .. do you expect Frank to get the bullet after the Arsenal defeat ?? ... Kenwright n Mozzy already eying the parachute payment so might keep him a while longer as hes doing a great job in relation to getting them relegated.

Re: EPL 2022 / 2023
The Evertons are are scoring machine this year. Instead of the usual 0-0 draw as in past years, the Evertons managed to slip one by Brighton's goaltender. Khun 747 must be quite proud of his team.
