I used to go and watch Borussia Mönchengladbach when I was a teenager. We were living in West Germany back then.

I didn't see any German football players pulling up trees, Statts.

Daniel Farke is set to manage Borussia Monchengladbach after he was given his cards at Norwich and moved on to Russia. Gladbach was the team I used to follow when I lived there in 1983.

Thank you statts. You or thewatchman can take the lead in this thread. I'd be impressed if either of you were half as good as the Map's leading football analyst. He's a treasure.

Nah. I'm afraid the bloody German International football team (Der mine shaft or something like that) dont have what it takes to win the World Cup this year, even though I suspect it will be a bit of a lottery given the heat and conditions there. Got a sneeking feeling we might see a last hurrah from Messi & co before this Argie team breaks up.If you want a rank outsider that will give you a run for your money I'd go with Senegal 66/1 with William Hill & 100/1 with Betfred (assuming Fifa are playing by the rules and nothing underhand has been agreed with the hosts)

I think I saw a headline about Germany and England. A report is expected from our Germany - England football expert, samster. Alan can't cover all the Bloody FOOTBALL!!!!! and also keep putting his two principal sparring partners in place.
