Thought you meant "Miss Jones" from Rising Damp  (but then realised she was "LA Tour")

It would be nice to have a conversation on what happens when the riders stay on their bikes, rather than when they fall off. The latter being the sure sign of not a cyclist.
Will either Alaphillipe or Van de Poel stay the distance? Are Ineos Grenadiers as good as their fans believe?
Will we see a protest by the peleton on Stage 4?
My answers to the above questions are:
Yes.
No.
I sincerely hope so.

OK, only serious comments from now on.

They seem to be falling off quite a lot already, no? Personally, I can't believe that this prestige event has so many non-cyclists participating.

Digging a bit deeper, it seems that riders, team managers and sports directors are talking about "unbelievable" conditions and "deplorable" poor course design. The first pile-up was most certainly caused by the irresponsible behavior of a spectator (a German lass who has already fled the country) but the subsequent crashes seem to have been caused by non-riders trying to make a moderately spectacular, niche-market but world-class sporting event into something more gladiatorial and 'hunger games' like.

Would it be possible to target the few minutes/hours when they actually race instead of just poodling along with photo shoots and champers celebrations for riders who are retiring, having a birthday or going through the village they were born in.
