Re: English Premier League 2021/22
I was hoping for an end to the ridiculous banter about the Evertons. I dread the thought of another season of GT mouthing off about nothing. Is there some hope that the Evertons will have points deducted over a scandal someone mentioned a few months ago? The Evertons have got to go!

Here's those on Everton 2021/22 payroll making £75k/week or more.
Who What Age Salary Weekly paypacket
Yerry Mina D 26 £6,240,000 £120,000
Donny van de Beek M 24 £6,240,000 £120,000
Andre Gomes M 27 £5,835,000 £112,212
Jordan Pickford GK 27 £5,200,000 £100,000
Gylfi Sigurdsson M 31 £5,200,000 £100,000
Richarlison de Andrade F 24 £4,680,000 £90,000
Fabian Delph M 31 £4,160,000 £80,000
Ben Godfrey D 23 £4,000,000 £76,923
Abdoulaye Doucouré M 28 £3,900,000 £75,000
Mina has been a horse these critical end-of-season games and was a great if overpriced buy by Marco Silva (the manager that Everton let get away).
DVB is a loanee, another Ten Hag love child so he'll be headed back to Old Trafford.
Glyfi is out of contract this year and worthless. His position has already been filled.
Richarlison is worth about £40m and his contract's up next year. Any takers?
DCL is dirt cheap at £20k/week and he's in contract to 2025 but his market value is over £35m so a drop in the ocean for the Saudis.
Apart from the relegated teams (includes LUFC), the EPL seems to have a solid batch of GK's at the moment so they'll have to stick with the expensive Pickford... unless he goes to Man U or the Saudis.

Ayew Shouldn't have even been on the Pitch to make it 0-2 though Should He ?? A Real Leg Breaker that wasn't it ??.......Brian Davis wrote: ↑May 20, 2022, 9:03 amI guess it wouldn't have been a case of first half 'can hear a pin drop', if the Everton fans knew Palace players were having their balls removed at half time. In the struggle to avoid the drop, I wonder what Burnley and Leeds feel about Palace's 2nd half showing?

Moving on from nothing, the suspense waiting for 747man's triumphant posts is half killing me. I expect he'll be getting some posters really good. Head for the hills LYM.

Re: English Premier League 2021/22
Just re-posting this in advance of Sundays games. As expected, Everton stay up even though they couldn't beat Watford. I really wasnt bothered about Evertons game last night as I thought they had enough points already. The image of a smug looking Bill Kenwright did make me want to throw up though.samster wrote: ↑May 2, 2022, 10:26 amGood win for Everton. Pity they havent shown that much heart in the previous 8 months. The shots of the crowd confirmed that Scousers really are ugly gits.
They'll stay up now as 3 points at Watford is a given and they should scramble a couple more.
Burnley might struggle to get anything from the next 3 matches and, hopefully Chris Wood will save his one good game per year for when he visits Turf Moor on the last day of the season.
Problem is I cant see any wins for Leeds in the last 4 games unless they give Marcello a reprieve.
The big upset for me was the Burnley result. Pope was brilliant (again) and they deserved a point for that alone. Not read the press today as, I've been travelling but, I thought they should have had another penalty too.
My prediction for the weekend is for Leeds to get beaten heavily with Gelhardt sent off and Burnley to sneak a draw.
Hope over expectation this weekend which is sad as I have no doubt that we would have stayed up under Bielsa. Even if we hadn't, he would have brought us straight back up. The appointment of a PT teacher in place of a legend was baffling.
