Everton continues to dominate this thread. =D>

I can't see 747man being upset about that. It is the People's Club.

Enjoy the wind up fellas while it lasts.

I don't think he'd be dishing it out if that made him miserable. \:D/

Might Andrew Windsor be interested in the next vacancy for Orange Boy or Boot Cleaner at Everton? He has a lot of free time and needs something to do to keep him out of mischief. I don't think he should be manager.

No excuse Stats.

I just checked Leeds squad for Bielsa's first game at Leeds in August 2018 and, 9 are still first team regulars when not injured. Howe needs to start making an impact quickly. It might happen against Leeds 2nd string on Saturday if Bielsa doesnt take the Arsenal cowards way out and ask for a postponement

But do you expect those players to still be 1st teamers in 2 - 3 years time?
I suspect that most of the Leeds players were young enough to grow with the team, whereas most of the 2016 toon players were already senior players dropping down or experienced championship players at the time.
If Harrison can score 3 against Westam, lord knows what damage he will do to our static defence 8-[

Oh dear 747man, we all know what youve been like in the past and what you would be like if liverpool, leeds.newcastle, man utd or scunthorpe were in the same position,i don,t understand why you have nothing to say about everton?lets not forget your famous saying''ive forgotten more about football than you lot know'' i can understand your embarrassment of probably the worst run club in the premiership but still thought you would have an opinion ?,never mind keep pretending its not happening ;)

Suarez 'focused' on Gerrard offer - reports

Luis Suarez has turned down offers from Brazil and Saudi Arabia as he would prefer to link up with former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard at Aston Villa, according to reports in Spain.

Gerrard has already spoken to Saurez, says Barcelona-based journalist Gerard Romero.

Suarez's deal with Atletico Madrid runs out in the summer, meaning he is free to negotiate with foreign clubs.

Talking of the African cup thingmie, there was an early upset with current champions Algeria being beaten by Equatorial Guinea but I heard on the radio that 4-times champions Ghana have been knocked out after losing to Comoros who are playing in their first ever ACN.

Newcastle have made an approach to Manchester United for Jesse Lingard, who is out of contract in the summer and has no interest in renewing his deal at Old Trafford.

Lingard is believed to be interested in considering any offer from Newcastle, and could favour a permanent switch to St James' Park.

The 29-year-old has a good friendship with Kieran Trippier, who joined Newcastle from Atletico Madrid this month, and is understood to be impressed by the club's ability to attract a player of his calibre.

Yeah, so what's any of this got to do with the sad sack Evertons?

To respond between the Scally bants and the colonial wind up merchants....

Ayling, Cooper, Forshaw, Klich, Dallas and, arguably, Bamford were all lower league journeymen transformed in a few weeks to form the heart of our team in the last (and possibly next) 3 years by Bielsa. Only Phillips, Roberts and Harrison were youngsters. I'll say it now that Howe was the wrong choice. He alone wont make a big enough difference between now and the end of the season.

I actually think you might win at the weekend given our injuries but, relegation is between the bottom 4. Your money and the ineptitude of the other 3 will probably keep you up.

I think that getting at least 3 or 4 more through the door ..... and getting them to gel quickly is our only chance

chief executive Peter Robinson has passed away, 35 yrs at the club and a rock behind the scenes where he preferred to be. Many dealings with him during my time as a commentator on Radio City and Radio Merseyside, always found him to be courteous. RIP Peter

Thank you. We don't get much commentary on the Map about the less important EPL team from Liverpool. I find it really peculiar. Thankfully our Newcastle and Leeds supporters like to post about their team.
