Dont wanna worry anyone but if Burnley (currently bottom) win their games in hand they go a point above Everton

Re: English Premier League 2021/22
How did 747's back up teams, Tranmere City Rovers and the Hull City Tigers, fare? The problem for the Evertons is that their goaltender keeps giving up easy goals. The offence is keeping up their end of the bargain by going scoreless. As mentioned many, many times, the Evertons have survived and kept their place among the big boys by getting numerous nil-nil draws. That isn't happening this campaign. Their goaltender is a sieve. In more interesting news, how did Norwich City do?Drunk Monkey wrote: ↑January 22, 2022, 10:23 pmOh dear me ..Emerton loose AGAIN ..

Oh dear. Another depressing day. Nil all draws don't look so bad on days such as this.

No supporters in trouble with the old bill, however can,t say the same for our little friends across the parkGT93 wrote: ↑January 21, 2022, 5:37 amPeculiar? I'll wear that. There's a lot of tension lower down the ladder and Everton is now in that space too.
Any Liverpool FC news? Any supporters in trouble with the old bill this week?
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/60096907 ,Everton FC has stated anyone caught throwing missiles onto the pitch will be banned for life, why not punish them instead of rewarding them

I agree. Throw the book at the ***** or pricks. If convicted, I'd hope some porridge is on the cards. Someone could have been seriously hurt.

Your "static" defence did well but rode their luck at times. One look at the subs benches before the game told you who has the deeper squad.stattointhailand wrote: ↑January 23, 2022, 12:11 amI'm gonna wait till morning b4 I say anything ..... just in case I'm dreaming

Re: English Premier League 2021/22
We were really lucky to have such a deep bench that allowed us to cope with the 3 injuries in the first 60 odd mins
Anyone would be thankful to have local kid Longstaff available to play 3/4 of the game, but to be able to bring on Sunderland reject Manquillo and Villa "has been" from 10 yrs ago Clarke to fill the gaps was a stroke of genius. Would have been nice to be able to replace Schar, Shelvey & Fraser as well as all 3 would have been replaced if we had any subs left but had to limp through the last 10 mins.
Have to say it was a good game to watch though (for the neutral) with action in both pen areas and plenty of chances at both ends. Meslier at fault for the goal? He must have thought someone would get a touch, so couldnt commit. He did make a cracking save from Shelveys earlier volley though so cant really have a go at him
