Only 8 million? That's the tip they left after their business lunch.

Woodward maybe jumped before he thought he might be pushed but I seriously doubt any of these guys are going anywhere. It was being discussed on UK chat radio about how sincere their apologies have been and someone commented these billionaires have got through life probably not having to apologize for much of anything. So it's really how good an apology their recently hired PR consultants put together. These owners do not and never will give a toss about the grassroots fanbase.

Florentino Pérez, the broke as f*ck president of Real Madrid and this ESL fustercluck, has been ranting on Spanish airwaves about how the ESL deal isn't dead, just on hiatus and still proclaiming that his idea is the savior of football globally. Sticking the boot in on an un-named 'reluctant' EPL team as having been the root of the collapse. This self-serving bit of Spanish dogsh*t doesn't deserve ANY air let alone airtime.

But ... but .... didn't this lot say that all football clubs were losing money and that's why they needed the Super League. AND ...... didn't they say they would give more money to all the other leagues/teams. Ehm if you are giving up x - 10% instead of x - 8% you will be worse off than when you started

Judging from Pérez's squealing, he's already spent the 96 mill that the silly Englanders already forked out and now want back.

Well it certainly explains why there were no Yorkshire or Scottish teams in the Superleague :-"

The EPL commences the bloodletting.

Executives from the six traitorous teams have been asked to vacate their seats on various committees or risk being forcibly removed.

Going momentarily off topic, the US Congress could learn so much from the humble EPL, eh?

Thought the Man Utd fans were taking their ideas from "storming the capitol" when they "stormed the carrington"

Ole was heard to say "Look I know you've been hurt,We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You're very special."
