If they had been offered 80 behind with 5 wkts in hand at 0 - 0 they would have bit yer hand off so have to be fairly happy with the position .......... will spin be a factor?

Must be a good batting pitch.
Maybe a double century from Joe will be required. Might be a day 5 finish though.
5-447
600 would be daunting

So far I’ve been close.
Kiwis to push hard now to get over 250 for tomorrows final day.
There will be a result one way or the other if the poms have a crack. Stokes to be the hero

Well done the home team. Great game of cricket. Reminded me of this one:

England
551/6d & 129

Australia
513 & 168/4

Adelaide 2006

But that was down to an England batting collapse (not too unusual), whereas you cant say the Kiwis did anything wrong. Followed up their first innings with a solid knock then got England at 90 odd for 4 .......... perhaps their mistake was getting Crawley too early before he had a chance to slow the scoring rate down?

Perhaps they should just do away with proper cricket and play 2x back to back 20 / 20 matches on 5 consecutive days. You could keep the 5 day blocks at each ground and the series winner would be who wins most of the 50 matches played

Bloke called Warne was playing too.
Kiwis did nothing wrong. Just great cricket by the home side and cricket at its best. 20-20 and pajama cricket in any form can't come close to that.

Best 11 ever? Would go close. Greatest game ever play? Would go close. I was living in Yokohama at the time. Got the result on the phone. May have watched the YouTube highlights once or twice.
