I don't share your confidence that it will have improved much by the end of 2021.

To give it a chance, hopefully the incompetent feds will have managed to achieve more than they have in the past 12 months, and actually get the vaccination program working competently.

Wow jackspratt you are proving it really doesn’t take much to trigger some.
It appears on the surface that the Covid situation has caused some who are not in their own country to be far to removed from certain items. One being the language and light hearted turn of phrase that is used from their home country. BS is just that, a turn of phrase in Aussie. Not a direct true comment on any particular subject.
I can also understand your lack of confidence because if I had your, “half glass empty” attitude I would have said IF, but, being a half glass full type of guy I said WHEN. Additionally the “sky is falling”mentality by throwing in world Covid death rates into a sports thread is disappointing.
And then pushing the ABC lefty BS attacking our PM into a sports thread is also disappointing.
You have maybe 6 threads to push this mantra.
Just learn to lighten up mate. You appear to have lost all levity on some subjects.

By the way Australia to win 5 blot in the ashes series.

The expression BS is capable of more than one meaning, Barney.

Anyway, on with the cricket - hopefully.

Back on topic, excellent win by England Ladies over the Indian opposition in the second 1 dayer. Set a fraction under 4.5 per over they kept the required rate level for almost the entire innings (never over 5 and never less than four until the last couple of overs when they knocked off the runs to win by 5 wkts with 9 balls to spare

The T20 is becoming a bit of a farce for the Yorkshire lads. We lead the Northern section but, England have snaffled Bairstow, Root, Willey, Rashid and Malan for the one sided series against SL.

We have loaned Stoneman from Surrey and, just about cobble a team together. I'm going to the Roses match on Friday but, its going to be a struggle.

England thrash Pakistan in 1st one day international.
England cruised to victory with 169 balls to spare

But
Australian Labuschagne shatters county record with double hundred

Australian star posts the highest ever score for Glamorgan.

Marnus Labuschagne has hammered 276 from just 268 balls.

Well let him have the highest SECOND WICKET PARTNERSHIP (with Nicky Selman) 291, but he is well off the highest score for Glamorgan (309 NO by Steve James v Sussex)

I'm a permanent optimist when it comes to English cricket but, this shower fill me with no confidence.

I've got 2nd day tickets for the Headingley test. Might catch an English first innings collapse if the Indians win the toss

Stay positive samster
Anderson is difficult to beat in the England conditions. Swing and Sean had him on song again.
Shame about the wet track.

Rain ruined Englands victory charge yesterday without a ball being bowled

Be interesting to see if the Aussies can recover to a 2 - 3 defeat against Bangladesh tonight
