Just goes to show the sharp decline in Spurs since Mourinho took the reins, old style management, poor tactics, disarray in the dressing room and no major game changing players signed. Spurs for relegation must be a very big worry for their fans if Everton can beat them at home.

Hopefully not as many years as we had to put up with LFC's boring "memory lane" before they got lucky last season.

I guess Levy now has to keep even more in the bank for Mourinho's inevitable "Thanks, now f**k-off" moment.

Everton have only a short memory regarding trophies (not too many trophies) to remember, winning has come second nature to The Reds as you probably guessed already, so just keep on hoping for better days (and football) by the Bluenoses.

Full time: Everton 5-2 West Brom

Peep peep! Everton go top of the Premier League, at least for the next eight hours, after an ultimately emphatic win over West Brom. The match was settled in a 90-second period just before half-time when James Rodriguez made it 2-1 to Everton and Kieran Gibbs was sent off for shoving James in the face.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was the star with the first hat-trick of his career, while James again oozed class. It’s been a very, very good seven days for Everton.

I didn't think Mike Dean was allowed to referee an Everton or Liverpool game as he comes from "The Wirral", a tad too close to home?
