You really have to admire Bruce's tactics ......... go 2 goals up against 10 men

Sit back and invite the 10 man away team onto you giving them nearly 70% possession, and wait for them to score a couple of goals.

Start to play again at 2 - 2 and grab the winner

Sit back and soak up pressure from 10 men until final whistle

Words just cannot describe what the fans think of Bruces ability

Maybe it's the Geordie version of the self-sufficiency life that certain persons promote in Thailand, no? Don't aspire for any more than you need to get by, ie. stay just above the relegation zone and leave the mid-table for those that think they're great.

Not sure how the 'monkey cheeks' bit fits in at St. James' Park though.

I,m not surprised he,s got the chop but the timing of it is odd with the Spuds being in the Carabao Cup Final this Sunday.
Maybe the reasoning is the players will put in more effort with Jose not around?? :-k
He,ll be back as manager of Everton or Newcastle soon :D
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

With Eddie Howe having second thoughts, I reckon Jose could slide right in at Parkhead.

Assuming the "Big six" resign their membership of ECA (Man U Chelsea Arsenal already have) that means Leicester, West Ham, Everton and LEEDS :yikes: will be in Next seasons Chumpions League :-"

One thing nobody seems to be mentioning is what will happen to the likes of Jadon Sancho/Jude Bellingham/and other young "future superstars" .........

Will they risk signing for Man Utd or Liverpool and risking the fact that they don't become elete players, get discarded and are then finished at the age of 21 as they are banned for life from playing in any of the European Leagues?
What if the get a semi serious injury which means they are no longer good enough to play in the EuroLeague ..... career finished as they wont have an option to "drop down" the leagues.
Will they risk their whole career for a few thousand extra quid or earn slightly less and have a more secure future?
