I’d take it with a bit more water if I were you. That way you might not doze off then wake with a start posting the first things that come into your head

Back on topic the next game today/tonight

I won’t be following it, maybe Statts would be kind enough to post the results real-time? If not you’ll all have to wait until I surface tomorrow, soz

Wow, last night Leicester 2 Newcastle 4
I don't think many will have seen that coming.
Newcastle were actually 4-0 up with 7 minutes to go.
Will Leicester miss out on Champions League football again ?
I spose statto will be posting later praising Steve Bruce and Mike Ashley again :D

I,m sure most of us are aware of this but I can't find a posting on the footie forum... so for those who don't know....
Jose Mourinho is taking over as manager of Roma in Serie A next season.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Steve Bruce has proved in recent weeks even with a limited sub quality squad he has the guile and tactical know how to not only keep Newcastle up but push for Europe next season .. Ashley is bound to give him a contract exstention rightly so ..and all the fans that have given him so much stick recently its time to eat their words.. speaking of eating ...

The owners of local kebab shops will be very happy if Bruce stays ..

The toon in Europe?!... just spat a bunch of my morning kebab over my keyboard. What's so tactically great about repeatedly bunging 'Big Andy' on after 70 minutes? Pretty sure only the likes of Fulham were ever "tricked" by Bruce's great tactical nous (until the Foxes that is).

WRT the lack of coverage of "The Special One's" flit to Serie A, it's testament to the British media and fan's burnout on this has-been. Somewhere in heaven, there's a special doorknob waiting for his arse.

Credit to Jose "the special one" Mouriniho he has never filed a job seekers claim in his life .. in fact the ink wasnt dry on the Spurs contract termination doc and Jose had signed contract at Roma .. hes probably got a lot of monthly out goings to cover so needed a job ASAP .. you never know where your next Ferrari , Bentley , Rolex and 5000 quid lunch is coming from .

Agree lack of media coverage of Jose flip to Italy has been minimal... he was tipped for the soon to be available Scunthorpe United managers position but alas fake news.

The jinx?

"They remain in third place, with destiny in their own hands, but made Newcastle appear like European heavyweights in front of chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, attending his first Leicester game since February 2020."

Ashley is currently trying to re negotiate "The Cabbage's" contract, after hearing of the Scunthorpe interest

Brucie confirmed that as a Scunny supporter all his life he would relish the chance to manage his lifelong team (and it would also put him in a much better position to take on the Grimsby job if and when it became available again) C;aret & blue all the way until it changes

Jose has told Roma it may be a short stay as he has just been "filling in" with jobs at Man Utd/Spuds/Roma until Ashley finally goes and he can step into his dream job by filling Sir Bobby's shoes at Newcastle :-"

Liverpool won me some money yesterday so I'm happy.

Everton sitting 8th at present to West Ham at 5th and Lawro is predicting a Hammers win, not sure if I'll bet on this one.

Both to score and more than 2.5 goals would be my guess
