PL tests on players
Six individuals connected to three unnamed Premier League clubs have tested positive for coronavirus as sides return to small group training amid the pandemic.
The Covid-19 tests were conducted on Sunday and Monday as part of the league’s partnership with the Prenetics consortium, and are due to take place twice a week from now on. Forty tests will be carried out at each club in each session.
The league said in a statement: “The Premier League can today confirm that on Sunday 17 May and Monday 18 May, 748 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19. Of these, six have tested positive from three clubs.
“Players or club staff who have tested positive will now self-isolate for a period of seven days.
“The Premier League is providing this aggregated information for the purposes of competition integrity and transparency.
“No specific details as to clubs or individuals will be provided by the League and results will be made public in this way after each round of testing.”

Don't let your selective amnesia miss the Champion's League wins. No matter how many times they win the league, it is now what Man City crave most. Don't make me post THAT pic of the 6 trophies that LIVERPOOL have.747man wrote:But..............It's Now Over 30 Years since LiVARpool Won the League Championship In'it ??
BTW, the LiVARpool thing that you think is funny really isn't.

Re: English Premier League 2019/20
The potential return date for Project Restart is set to be pushed back - according to the Daily Star.
***
Premier League organisers are set to miss their June 12 restart target amid ongoing issues from teams.
The top flight of English football is preparing to return to action as the coronavirus pandemic has suspended games since March.
It was hoped that this would happen from June 12, with games played behind closed doors at neutral venues.
But ESPN have been told by Premier League insiders that this may be under threat as clubs put up a challenge.
And this would see the return of match action pushed back to June 19 or June 26 at the earliest.
