New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in just 16 overs !
Sri Lanka are very poor and I think Afghanistan could beat them on Tuesday ??
I think the eventual winners will be one of England,Australia or India.
Dark horses...West Indies and New Zealand.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

I think David Warner, or I hope he is, on the cusp of a great World Cup. Reading the commentary with his innings stats it was his slowest 50, only a couple of handfuls of 4’s and no 6’s. And he allowed 2 maidens to be bowled to him, not happened before.
Those people saying he should be booed don’t know the former gentleman side of cricket. Encouraging bad crowd behavior is simply not cricket. Yes, of course Australians have been guilty of this.
Good to see him back.

Terrible wicket at Cardiff. Looked like the groundsman had lost his lawn mower.

Easy win for Australia. One of their cheats top scoring.
Thousands of Afghan supporters. Did they fly in or come in the back of a lorry.

In the past Warner has played like an out of control yobbo. The opposite of a gentleman. It's extremely difficult to have any sympathy for him. He acted as if he was bigger than the game and has acted as if he had a few psych issues.

Bangladesh 215 - 2 after 34 overs. Could get 350+. South Africa won the toss and sent them in. Could it be another massive choke from the masters?

330 - 6 which is their highest ever World Cup score =D> =D> =D>

SA might be in for a troublesome time chasing that with the Bangladeshi spin triplets . With Ngidi out of the line up they start at 0 - 1from 0.0 overs

SA are just not firing and will be lucky if they make the semis. Bangla played well and the bowlers all shared the spoils.
England have to make short work of the Pakistani team today to keep credibility with their fans and the local media.
Another game in Nottingham today and will be interesting to see who has the most fans.
Had a polish done on the crystal ball last night :D and England shone through.

World Cup

348. Good score from the Pakistan team.
Plenty of cheers and smiles with all eyes on the box for the England innings up Bradford way.

Well that was a close one for Pakistan. England nearly got there. The pre-tournament arrogance of the English media and the overconfidence of the team with the constant talk that England with the best tournament batting line up can chase any score above 300 has come back to bite them. Yes they can constantly score above 300. Even with 2 centurions this time out they seem to have reached a peak of exactly how many they can score above 300. 330 seems their limit.
Their first up bowlers seemed to be ares about. The first change bowler should have kicked off proceedings. England’s weakness has been exposed early and other teams are working n the money hitting big on the Poms little grounds.
Big test for Australia now in their next hit out will be the bowlers being under pressure in combatting the unbelievable 6 hitting power of my dark horse team the WI.

England undone by a fr*ggin' South African

Butter fingers in the field spilling an easy catch (costing 50 odd runs), and then so much up his own *rse that he wastes the teams review 13 balls into the innings when it was clearly never gonna be overturned [-X [-X [-X

Congtats to Pakistan who came back from the horrors of their first match especially when the "Pakistani" reporters were questioning "if England batted first could they break the 500 ?" :-&

Battle of the cellar dwellers tonight. But one team will end up equal on point to the host country.
Malinga the slinga will be fired up and just may be the difference for SL with his thunderbolt sandshoe crushers.

You just never know if the money "is on" with the Pakis. Looks like the Lankans might be having a dip with the bookies today.

Big test very soon tonight with the Windies most likely primed for a big one. Chris Gayle did seem to have his back problem return last hitout. That might mean he does like in the past, just smash 4’s and 6’s and not bother to run.
Aussies should get the job done though and go to the table lead with the NZ boys.

You gotta question the umpiring in this match. Gayle given out when he should have been facing a 'free ball'.
With luck like this put your money on the Aussies.

You can question the umpiring in any match - doesn't change the result though.

Different degrees of umpiring cock ups. This one was almost as bad as you can get.

Have you seen the match? What's your opinion on the umpires mistake?
